Grants Available
Grants are being offered to teachers for special projects such as travel, work towards advanced degrees, attendance at seminars and meetings, for classroom projects, and grade and school wide projects.
Tri State Educational Foundation also offers grants for district-wide projects.
Grants have been awarded to schools for such things as to buy maps, books, science equipment, and to take field trips; to cities to fund training for law enforcement personnel; to school districts to provide staff development for teachers and administrators; and to colleges to help fund special programs such as the one at Mississippi State University / Northeast Mississippi Community College. http://www.distance.msstate.edu/elem/index.html
Grants can be submitted at anytime, but preferably a minimum of six weeks or more in advance to allow us sufficient time to review your request.
